A protocol on Ottoman Turkish courses between “Youth Services Head Office of Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkish Republic” and “Hayrat Foundation” has been signed.
The protocol aims to organize Ottoman Turkish courses in order to raise a youth who will be able to read and understand the print and handwritten Ottoman Turkish books that the libraries and the Ottoman archives -the most important sources of our national culture- and other organizations and people possess; and to train a youth who will get the utmost benefit of the knowledge and documents in Ottoman Turkish and then bring them into our cultural life.
Hayrat Foundation has been holding Ottoman Turkish courses in cooperation with Ministry of National Education for almost 2 years. Almost 200 thousand people have got Ottoman Turkish certificates to date thanks to these courses.
